The Spark of Creation
From a very young age, I’ve loved creating things for others. In the early 70s, I made my first candle to sell at a backyard carnival my best friend and I hosted. We donated the proceeds—an impressive $34 at the time—to the Jerry Lewis Muscular Dystrophy Association Labor Day Telethon. Gift-giving has always been my love language. Every day, I find myself thinking about what I can make for the people I care about. Over the years, that’s taken many forms: ceramic pieces, hand-sewn Halloween costumes for my children (a Pink Power Ranger and a tiger), and even a chicken costume for my high-schooler. The joy these creations bring is truly priceless.
Evolution of the Craft
In 2016, I decided to learn the art of soapmaking and other bath products. Those first batches became the foundation of our small business. Since then, we’ve expanded to include laser-engraved items and a variety of personalized gifts for both individuals and corporate clients. Every item in our marketplace is handmade by me.
